when WOP takes over Tacconelli’s Pizzeria

In case you missed the first Tac’s WOP takeover, I introduce you to my fabulous foodie friends of all walks of life:

We had a great turnout tonight at one of my favorite pizza joints in Philadelphia.  Taconnelli’s never fails us!  Thin crust and fresh, simple ingredients.  Tac’s makes Italy proud.

There is a strategic move you must make at a tac’s WOP dinner.  It’s called GRAB THAT SH*T.  Basically, when a pizza gets placed on the tray, in 5 seconds it goes from this:

Gotta have your eyes on the prize.  I am not the biggest fan of their white pizza, but I will basically inhale anything with red sauce and toppings so that’s when I GRAB SH*T fast.  Throughout the course of the night, I had plain, prosciutto & spinach, pepperoni, sausage, and margherita.  See why I broke paleo?  Totally necessary tonight.

These pictures don’t do it justice.  It’s seriously the best pizza you can find around these parts.  I’m sure I will blog this statement many more times in the future…

My friend Andrew started the WOP (World Order of Pasta) ohhh, back in the day and it’s still going strong!  Some of my friends joined the regulars tonight and we had a blast stuffing our faces and catching up on life adventures.

And of course we were being goofballs, surprised?

Guys, the ladies love bowties.  Wear one if you want some lovin’.

Andrew’s mom decided to marry me off tonight.  We popped bottles to celebrate.  Check out my giant rock:
